In this video I show off the pieces of Emacs Lisp I use to set the initial evil-mode states in various modes and to update keybindings therein. Both of these became very important (at least for me) with the introduction of evil-motion-state, which is a bit of a hybrid between evil-emacs-state and evil-normal-state.
