udio / Sound is a very important component of video production. I find that it is often overlooked and is the most challenging and interesting component of a video project. More interesting than effects, transitions, etc. Sound also happens to be one of my greatest weakpoints in my production. I am still learning and hope to continue to improve the audio quality of my videos.
In this video, I will go through the basics of sound for video production. We'll look at how Kdenlive handles audio. Kdenlive has enough tools to help make your project sound great. However, I also use Audacity especially to help improve the quality of voiceovers. Kdenlive has a powerful keyframable Volume effect which we will spend some time talking about.
