I have been moving since teenagehood. I embraced a variety of movements & appreciate the different forms expressed in traditional ethnic & contemporary dance, contact improvisation, yoga, tai chi, qi gong, pilates, GYROKINESIS (R), GYROTONIC (R), ballet & more. I gravitate towards low impact practices, preferring to go deeper, doing it with awareness and understanding. This way of practice has helped me improved my scoliosis, taught me to connect to my deep core and move consciously.
I was thwarted in my desire to be a movement educator. Given my love and passion, I quit a cushy 9-5 forever to pursue the unchartered territory of movement education. That was 8 years ago.
I started this channel because I truly believe that both STRENGTH & MOBILITY in MOVEMENT is one the best form of self care. I'd be most happy to share content to help people improve their movement pattern, health & quality of life. May everyone live pain free.
