🚨 I want to make a public announcement 📢 to let all of my subscribers know that I will not leave a comment stating that you have won something. There has been a lot of scammers coming out of the woodwork lately and these folks are pretending to be me using my photo, name and trying to scam you into giving them your CC info. Don’t be fooled by these clowns. Use your better judgment and ignore these comments and report them to YouTube. I always report and remove them when I see them but they just keep coming back. Your best defense is to use common since and never click on any links these people leave. Below is a screen shot to show an example of what these scammer’s comments look like. I’ve been getting a lot of emails and messages about this problem so I wanted to let everyone know about this issue.

Y’all check out this video. My friend Lance is selling off a bunch of his vintage machines. He’s got a lot of nice quality older equipment that I know folks would love to own. Machines and blacksmithing tools. His contact info is in the video.

I want folks to understand that I make multi part video series to brake up the content into sections that are easier to watch, like chapters. It also helps keep from having one long run video. Not many people will want to watch a 1 or 1-1/2 hour video on YouTube. One of the benefits for this style is it also makes it easier to search and find different subjects or sequences in a build. Some folks like to come back and reference something I did in a video and having it broken in segments makes that easier to find.
This has been a video editing style of mine since the beginning of the channel in 2013 and I’ll continue to edit videos this way that are long run build, repair, or fabrications. I always try to make it clear in the thumbnail what content will be in the video published.
I have several projects coming up that I broke the video into three parts to keep the time frame down to about 1/2 hour each.
This isn’t Tik Tok or instant gratification videos that I create like you see on other platforms. My goal is create entertaining AND education videos to share that are typically long run. This is my style. If you want quick 5 minute or less build videos that doesn’t have any educational value, then maybe my channel isn’t for you.
This is not a rant by any means. I just want folks to understand my style of editing and why I make some videos the way I do. It’s not to gain more views. It’s to spread out the content in a build to make it easier to watch and easier to find.
Thanks to everyone who continues to support my work and my channel!

Huge thank you to Scott @essentialcraftsman for the amazing gift he has created for me! Scott and I talked back in late 2018 about collaborating on a forged canister weld project using some of the 4140 chips that I turned off a large gearbox shaft. The day finally come where Scott wanted to give this a shot and wow what a beautiful piece! Please check out his video and see what a wonderful job he does on both his skill, craftsmanship, and narrating of his productions. 👍🏻
