Here is an updated tutorial for the Tinder clone app made with Glide. The new version of Glide deprecated the swipe component so now you'll need to use buttons to scroll through profiles. The advantage of this approach is that it uses a lot less updates (Glide charges per update) and less overall data. Please note, that Glide doesn't encourage users to build consumer-type apps as their main target are businesses looking to build internal apps. The goal of these tutorials it to showcase what's possible to build using a no-code tool like Glide. Having said that, there are business use cases for a match-making app. For instance, you could use it at a conference to match people with similar interests and encourage networking. Use your imagination! ✨

Hello 👋! I'm rebranding this channel to better reflect the new focus on no-code app building. Instead of Grumo Media, the channel is going to be called just "GRUMO" and the tagline will be "Build Awesome Apps [Without Coding]". I haven't decided whether brand the channel based on a person (me) or a company brand (Grumo). What do you think would be better?
