Oh Very Young what will you leave us this time? You're only dancing on this earth for a short while... 

Eid Mubarak. The end of Ramadan brings the return of ease after difficulty, praying for the whole world to find its way back to peace after the eclipse of war. 

When I see the ceasefire voted by the UN security Council implemented and all hostages released, my faith in humanity will be partially restored. Please Lord, help the poor victims of this catastrophe rise out of the ashes to start afresh, in the earth once called Holy.

Peace isn't just the absence of war, it's a multifaceted condition where psychological and spiritual needs of human beings are protected also. Some battlefields lie deep within the breast.

I once wrote a song called ‘Where Do The Children Play?’ meaningful to many of us perhaps, but totally meaningless to the poor children of Palestine. They are just asking for a place to sleep, some food to eat, a night without fear of being bombed or losing their limbs, a chance to kiss their mothers goodnight without the threat of being dragged off to prison without charge, before the sun rises.

What I don’t get is that peace is obviously good for everybody… everybody, of course, who does not benefit from the dirty business of war.
