I had some fun and made a Film Simulation Wizard for Ricoh GR3 and GR3x with CustomGPT. It is totally free, but you need an OpenAI Plus account to use it. You just prompt the Wizard with your wishes, and it will output all the necessary settings

The Wizard is not perfect, but it provides a good starting point for your Film Simulation. Do not take it too seriously; it is supposed to be fun!

I will get the new OM SYSTEM OM-1 Mark II for testing. I am most interested in the Live GND feature. What do you want to know about the new OM SYSTEM camera? 

Do you ever print your photographs? What type of prints do you like to make/order online? 

I have been thinking about getting a printer. I am also interested in making Zines. 

Did you buy gear in 2023? How did it affect your photography? Were you happy with the gear? 

I got some Fuji gear to replace my OM-1 cameras. I also got a Ricoh GR IIIx for my Street photography. Fuji gave me more options in my video work, and Ricoh GR IIIx changed how I photograph on the streets. Next year I most likely won't buy any cameras. I am totally happy now with what I have.

Mine was a new start in my Street Photography.  I have not concentrated on Street Photography for about 15 years until this year. It has been one of the best years in Photography for me. Not necessarily the photos themselves but the good feeling of finding something again after many years. 

What is your favorite focal length for street photography? (in full frame equivalent) Tell us in the comments why.

There has been some concern about the OM-1s S-AF performance in low light and low contrast situations. It looks like the lowlight/low contrast S-AF performance is not what it should be. I will look into it and have a video about it next Friday (17.3.2023). I am trying to get a comment from OMDS. I will also test how C-AF works in the same situations. Preliminary tests show that it seems to work better in C-AF. I have an E-M1 Mark III for comparison. 

Most likely the only digital Olympus M-1. A video in the making.
