The Antioch Hope Whispers (AHW) is the Gospel singing Group of Teenagers (then) that originated from Pentecostal church in Ilala Mchikichini, Dar es Salaam Tanzania. It was among the very few Gospel Singing Groups back in the mid-80's and early 90's.
The Group was founded by Joshua Japhet Kyara in 1983, as the New Happy Choir (NHC). The group transitioned to its current name, Antioch Hope Whispers, in 1986. The Group has been singing in Open Air Crusades, Different Church Denominations, Colleges and Universities.
