It's nice when customers take out the time to leave a review. Fantastic to know your work is appreciated 😀

Do you ask for reviews or wait for them to come to you?

I often hear folks say they are going to "upgrade" to the waterfed pole method.

For me it is not an upgrade, rather a tool I must use in certain circumstances, like inaccessible windows, or if the windows are particularly high up.

In picture one you can see the result after washing this pvc window with the waterfed pole, it was scrubbed multiple times and rinsed thoroughly.

In picture two you can see the results after using traditional window cleaning methods.

If I had left the windows in the state of picture one, would my customer view that tool as an upgrade? Probably not.

After this job the client left a 5 star review.

So the waterfed pole is a tool in the tool box but by no means would I class it as an upgrade in quality.

Food for thought.

Have a great day folks!

This is personally why I don't use wfp as my default method. First pic is after a scrub/rinse and the water hasn't dried yet, looks good enough right?

Second picture is once it had started to dry. Most windows still had remnants of spider webs and droppings (white marks)

I often find once windows have dried it often doesn't look as good as when wet.

Bit like when you wash your car / van / bike etc, when wet looks brilliant. Once dried you see what's left.

Now I use wfp everyday as there are plenty jobs I can't do traditional methods, ie too high, awkward to get to windows etc, but when jobs are simple / straight forward, I find the results of traditional methods leave a perfect result each time with no bits left behind unseen.

This is not to create a wfp or trad debate but to highlight the limitations of wfp and what could be left behind unknown to the user who has driven off into the sunset while those windows are wet... food for thought 🤔

Really like the Unger nlite poles. Today using the small 1.6M carbon composite for some low level wfp work.

Have you tried it yet? What's your thoughts.
