We're getting ready for Season #4. We've selected the projects we want to do and new people are arriving soon. Our goal here on Youtube is to document our process and deliver nice videos for you to follow it. We would love to know from you how long you would like the weekly videos to be. (we always get mixed messages on this)

Back to Kamp after a winter break and already planning what S4 is gonna look like! We will start posting videos in April, and we still got applications open for some positions, especially video making. 🎥 We already had a bunch of people applying and we’ve been getting in touch with some of them but this year we want to be a bigger team so… we are still looking for editors! Could be you. Or your friend. We are looking for people to come at different moments during the season, also the longer you can come, the better!

And in case you wonder how it went with video last year -> we were a team of 3, posted 32 videos and a recap, started a 4K channel for Patreons, crashed the drone (twice) 🙈, fixed it 🛠, dug into YT stats, managed to include 4 sponsors💰 without selling our soul, and got better at the infamous art of thumbnails 🖼. It's exciting to see from the inside how a channel grows. In 2022 we made around 16 million views, and in 2023 we did 22 million views and 244k more subscribers. Let's see if we can get to a million subs this year. Would be cool. 💪

And one big change we did last season was going from a single story per video, to including different projects and stories on every update. Maybe a bit more like season 1, where you can feel there is steady progress every week. Closer to how Kamp is actually like. And it’s cool we can include more stuff that was happening but was too small to become an update, like small fixes or harvesting with the neighbors. 

Overall it was a nice year, sometimes intense, but we feel proud of the result. This year we want to be up to four in the team so we can make better videos while having a more relaxed rhythm. Hey! After a good winter break we are ready to start a new season! We’ve made a plan and outlined the tasks. Today we open up the applications for people that want to come and help this year. Building our first “level 2” house, digging a lake, chopping bushes, cooking food etc. Have a look at this page  https://support.projectkamp.com/  with all the open positions.
