Described by Singapore Straits Times as ‘a chamber musician of the highest order’, and a ‘national treasure’, and her playing as ‘truly transcendent’, Tee Khoon was named one of the 40 under 40 faces to watch by Prestige Singapore and the second-ever violinist to be awarded the loan of a J.B. Guadagnini violin by the National Arts Council in Singapore. Tee Khoon performs internationally as a recitalist and a chamber musician and directs a chamber music series in Singapore that works actively to maintain an international level of chamber music performance in her home country. Presenting 2 projects a year consisting of formal Evening Concerts, interactive Concerts for Children, and activities within the communities like open rehearsals, school workshops, listening sessions and an internship program, TTK Grand Series seeks to use music and the arts to cultivate compassionate understanding and connection between people, and to inspire the love of classical music in all.
