My Chooms! Time to vote. Who's the baddest Known AI in Cyberpunk?

"Yet across the gulf of the net, behind the Blackwall, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded the human world with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us."

I believe the 5th corpo war and the AIs might be the backdrop for Orion - "IF" this turns out to be true - Which one of these do you believe poses the biggest threat in that given scenario? (Not on the list, let me know below)

For those of you wondering why The Blackwall is on there. It's to avoid spoilers, and thus representative of Rogue AIs behind the Blackwall in general - also, If the AI that has been singlehandedly containing all the rogue AI for about 50 years gets bored of being a wall, we might be fecked.

Also: Skippy Brendan, & Del aren't threats for obvious reasons. Although Del... hmm the jury is still out.

I ordered renegade lenses dammit!

LOLZ I have an army of engrams now

"Wintermute is coming"

Heavy breather.

Just realized. The R-7 Sterling is an Archer easter egg. LOL. Took me long enough.

This is a bit SPOILER-ish. Scroll down only if you've played Phantom Liberty!

Replay Killing Moon.
Listen to So Mi's voice when you're in the terminal.
Notice the AI also speaking as she does word for word.
Think about what that means.

Wow chooms! Thank you all for watching my last video (The opinion piece on the endings of PL). I had no idea it would pop off and get such engagement - being a "secrets guy". There's so much interesting and thought provoking discussion in the comments that even make me look at my own opinion under altered lighting, thank you so much for engaging, I wish I had the time to reply to all of you!

There's loads of thing that I'd like to discuss and many things that re-affirm my standpoint of the king of Cups being the lesser of 4 evils. One thing I'd like to highlight is the Mr. Blue Eyes aspect, as I think he's the one factor that either completely reinforces my argument or has the potential to make saving So Mi another more "positive" ending all depending on what conclusion you are prepared to draw about him. One of the most fascinating characters in the game.

How one might perceive him is definitely the bombus drone in my reasoning ointment. In order to form a solid argument (should that be your motive) you have to settle on an opinion of him from a lot of sketchy data and previous life or in-game experience.

It's impossible to know for sure if his motives are benevolent in his dealings with the city, and Jefferson Peralez. Evidence would tell us he isn't a saint though, from those invisible assassins' of his to the fact that he hires V for a heist in the end. And let's not forget that manipulating politics and making Jefferson Peralez forget about his own brother to believe him dead with brain washing (because he needed to use him as a host body?) for ultimately unclear ends is morally ambiguous at best. But you could choose to believe he's doing it all for the right reasons - you need to break some eggs...

That being the case, there is of course the possibility that Mr. Blue Eyes is actually a truly benevolent AI and sees the Blackwall AI is a threat to both humanity, or perhaps just his own agenda (if we assume it to be good) and he is helping So Mi contain and remove it, in order to reset the status quo. If this is the case, it gives an excuse for you to turn on reed and save So Mi.

But then, did he succeed or did he fail? Again this will come down to what you need to believe in order to entrench your viewpoint. Killing the host seems more of a foolproof and pragmatic measure – that’s pretty dark I know, and who’s to say in Groom Lake Nevada the NUSA tech-heads can’t extract traces of it after the fact…

So it’s interesting, but in the long run, maybe only the sequel will inform us what his overall agenda is, Like the illusive man, he could be a humanity first at all costs kinda guy - if the sequel is even contiguous like it is in the Witcher series. One can hope. Even with a different character (avatar) the setting and world-state could be maintained.

Damn chooms! This is why the writing is so damn good in CDPR games, I mean next level great "other devs are in their dust" kinda good, there are no "trite happy endings" there's an ocean of grey to swim in and enough ambiguity to drown an entire library of philosophers and keep them guessing until the end times.

Again, thanks so much for watching and engaging.
Maybe it needs a follow-up video on Mr. Blue Eyes.
