NEW RELEASE UPDATE: As promised starting next week beginning October 3rd, we’ll be releasing 2 new videos each week on both Tuesdays and Fridays. (We’ll also have a new video this Friday September 29th focused on free PC software). Most of these videos will be aimed at letting people know about tech resources for personal use, for work, and for creatives primarily focusing on free software, apps and other services. Thanks to all of you that contribute in our comments section and submit ideas for video topics. Cheers!

This YouTube channels name is no longer "TechGumbo" and is now “Brett In Tech”. As you may have guessed with the new channel name, my name is Brett. I created this channel back in 2017 as a side project and it's grown beyond expectations. As a software developer there have been times I have not been able to produce as much content for YouTube as I would like with my busy schedule. I've since made the decision to go full-time on YouTube to be able to produce more useful content that can help people become more aware of tech resources and tools that can help them in their lives. Other than that, I will have the time to be more active in the comments section on the days when we release new videos and dig deeper into new topics including machine learning and AI... Thank you all for your loyal support over the years! The first new video with the new channel name will be released tomorrow. It should be useful for many of you. Cheers!

UPLOAD UPDATE: Based on a poll conducted earlier on our Community tab, “Software” and “Websites” were the top 2 receiving votes. Beginning this Friday October 4th, we’ll be doing 4 videos in a row releasing each Friday in the month of October covering websites in specific categories. Most of which have never been featured on this channel… Beginning Friday November 8th we’ll do the same for software for 4 consecutive weeks… Thanks for your contributions to the poll and suggestions.
