WE HIT 400K SUBSCRIBERS!!!

Another milestone reached, with the next milestone being 500k!

Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well!

Just a bit of an update since I uploaded nothing on January, I kinda took a bit of a break in January since doing Mario Party videos takes a lot of time. I'll upload one Mario Party video tomorrow that's been backlogged, and then afterwards, I feel like doing a Smash video since I feel like my Smash audience has been missing out on the stuff they wanna see from me. It's not a montage, but it might as well be one.

I got a lot in store for this year, and it all starts tomorrow, see you then! 

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

2023 was a pretty awesome year for me! It did have its good and bad moments, and its bad moments really got me thinking about the future of this channel.

I realize that my last Smash Ultimate video where I played and edited was in April 2023 (the one in June wasn't gameplay that was entirely different), and I can't help but feel that my older audience has been missing out on my Smash stuff.

I've always told myself that if I were to make Smash videos, they were to be something memorable, not just hey guys I'm playing Elite Smash for the 500th time wooo I got a spike yay subscribe pls! It would probably still be Elite Smash, but I've always wanted to do stupid over the top edits over all that, since after all, that's how my channel became popular, and I've missed that too.

I'm happy to branch out on other things (Mario RPG, Mario Wonder), and Mario Party has lately been the big video that a lot of people look forward to, and while editing Mario Party is extremely difficult and time consuming, I'll always do it.

I'm going to try a lot of different things this year, and I hope you all look forward to it! Let's make 2024 a fantastic year! 

Tomorrow, Super Mario RPG Remake will be released!!!

Like my Mario Wonder playthrough, I'll play the game live on my Twitch at around 3:00pm EST (you can catch me live here:  https://www.twitch.tv/truekingofskill  and 3:00pm is a rough time since I don't have a stream schedule lol), and afterwards I'll upload the edited video.

Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well!

I rarely make announcements here on Youtube since I usually make any sort of announcement on my Twitter or even sometimes Discord, but I'll usually do big announcements on my Youtube Community tab.

By the time this community post goes up, the final part of my Super Mario RPG playthrough will be uploaded (if you've enjoyed the playthrough, then I'm glad you enjoyed the different style of casual videos), and the thing is, I'm very excited to play both Super Mario Wonder AND the Super Mario RPG Remake, and I'm going to stream both games and edit playthroughs for the Youtube channel as well!

You've probably noticed me uploading playthroughs on this channel as variety, so not only show off some different kind of content, but it's also significantly easier to upload these kinds of videos to help fill in the void in my upload schedule since I usually just upload a big Mario Party video nowadays and then go absent for a couple of days, and it's not because I'm lazy or I get burnt out quickly, it's actually the opposite. I would absolutely love to upload more Mario Party videos and even get back into making Smash Ultimate videos, but they take SOOOOOO long to make, and with Ultimate I don't wanna just release some generic Elite Smash video where I go online with a heavy and woah I spiked my opponent that's so awesome and unique!!! If I upload an Ultimate video, I will make a significant effort to make it stand out as a unique experience.

Basically where I'm going with this is that since Mario Wonder and Mario RPG Remake are releasing somewhat back to back, and I'm VERY excited to play them both, for the next couple of weeks I'm going to mostly be invested in these 2 games and trying to make the most out of it, and once I'm done with those 2, it's back to usual business from me (more Mario Party stuff, and hopefully some Smash Ultimate again), so if you're as excited as I am to check out Mario Wonder tomorrow, I'll be going live with the game on Friday, then immediately uploading afterwards!

I mentioned last Community post that I was cooking something up for a Smash video, which explains the literal no videos for the entirety of June, and figured I should make another announcement here stating that it's completed! I released the video about 3 days before this post is released, if you haven't seen it yet, I highly encourage you to check it out, especially to my Smash viewers who want to see something entirely different from me, because I guarantee it's the most unique Smash Ultimate video you would have ever seen.

By the time this community post is up, my latest Mario Party video is up (Mystery Land where I did horribly lol), hope you enjoy that video!

The main reason why I'm putting up this community post though is because after that Mystery Land video goes up, my next video is going to be a very special Smash Ultimate video. It's one that I've hyped up non stop on my Twitter and Twitch, so I figured I should do it here as well.

It's a video that I've been thinking about for months at this point, but thought that it's too difficult or way too tedious to pull off, but recently I found the resolve to just try it and see how it works. It's going much better than I thought, so I think I can manage it well.

I guarantee it's a very different kind of Smash Ultimate video, one that you've never ever seen before, it's why I'm excited to try and get it out! It's not a montage or an Elite Smash video, it's something completely different, which is why I'm so eager to show it off. I really hope it turns out well and I really hope you enjoy it when I release it!

Hey everyone!

Wanted to make a Youtube community post for the Youtube audience and announce that I will be attending Super Smash Con! It's happening in a few days after this community post is going up! I will be participating competitively, as well as hanging out and meeting up with a bunch of people, so if you're going and you see me, feel free to say hi!

This will be the first Smash Ultimate event I'm attending, so I'm very excited, and will probably upload some videos on my experience! This is also why I wanted to get out the Multiversus Shaggy montage out before I leave (which is out right now if you haven't watched it yet), wanted to leave you guys with something before I departed.

I don't know if I'll appear on any streams on Twitch, but look out for me if I do! See you guys in a week! (I'm making it sound like there's gonna be no videos from me for a week due to this trip, yet I upload like twice a month lol)

I've posted my Sora Montage a few hours ago, making this Community Post for those who didn't get notified for some reason.

I also wanted to make a post saying thank you to you guys. It's been quite the journey, I never thought I would be doing these kids of videos for over 2 years, and I still love doing them. Unfortunately since no more characters are joining Smash, the rate I'll do these montages will be significantly less, but this doesn't mean Sora will be the last ever character I'll do a montage of.

Nevertheless, I still wanted to express my thanks you all. I'm happy you all still enjoy the montages I put out, and I'm grateful for the continued support. So thank you all.

And thank you Sakurai for all your hard work. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate truly is a magnificent game.
