Together as a community, we managed to raise over £10,000 for the Mind Charity in a 12 hour stream. I feel extremely proud and grateful for everyone’s support.

Even if you just watched the stream today and lurked in the background, I appreciate you for being there.

Hey everyone :) Tomorrow 7th April at 7AM BST, I will be starting a 12 hour Fixathon Charity Livestream in remembrance of Tyler, an avid supporter of Joey Does Tech and a friend. 

We'll be raising money for a charity in the UK called MIND, they specialize in offering help whenever people are struggling with mental health problems.

Hey peeps 😁

I had to make a change to my YouTube account which has temporarily put a hold on any ad revenue I receive from my videos. I had to make the change to ensure everything with Joey Does Tech is running smoothly, so it was going to happen inevitably, and was going to be an inconvenience whenever I done it!

It's still pretty unclear whether I can claim back any ad revenue that I lose in this time period, but again this was a risk I have to take to avoid any issues going forward.

Over the past 4 years I'm sure I've only missed out on two weekend uploads. The update on my account states that cases are usually reviewed within 24 hours, but can take longer on some occasions (apparently even a few weeks). For that reason, I won't be publishing a Profit or Loss episode tonight, HOWEVER, I will publish it tomorrow evening regardless if I can monetize it or not so I don't miss a weekend upload.

The stream on Sunday should go ahead on both YouTube and Twitch as usual. Thanks for your understanding in advance, and let's hope Sally makes a profit in that video 😂

EDIT (25/02): We back in business 😊 That was actually super quick. Less than 24 hours and it's all back to how it was. Video to be released tonight! ❤ Thanks for all the supportive comments. 

It's always nice to give back when I can, especially after how much support I've received over the past two months going full time in Content Creation.

Would you watch an additional "Profit or Loss" episode during mid week, even if it was a bit shorter than the ones on the weekend? 😊 

How many people who watch the channel would actually like to learn basic repairs and basic soldering? 

People in the Live Streams recently have suggested that I create another "Sally's Spectacular Spreadsheet" from scratch PURELY for the Live Streams. 

I'd look at creating a new tab in the spreadsheet and try to secure some more items so that I'm not duplicating the repairs on video and stream. Streams will still be used as a chance to fix an item I wasn't able to in videos, think of this as just bonus content 😊
