Update: I'm currently on a hiatus from YouTube, exploring and enjoying other hobbies. I initially launched this channel in earnest back in 2020 during the "event(s)" of that year, which made my time indoors both enjoyable and rewarding. Fast forward four years, and my passion for working on retro consoles remains strong – in fact, I've dedicated two rooms in my house to it! However, at present, I'm nurturing other interests and spending my free time outdoors with friends. While I do plan to return to console repairs at some point, for now, I appreciate your patience. If you're willing to stick around until then, I look forward to reconnecting with you in the near future.

🇬🇧UK advice needed: Hey boys, I’m traveling to London next week. Counting on you guys for some solid recommendations :)
1. Any suggestions on PAL consoles or systems I should try and pick up while I’m there?
2. Any advice on retro shops or thrifting hotspots in London I should check out?

I was but a lonely man with a cheap soldering iron. Somehow I rallied 25k retro console repair junkies to join me along the way. I have no words, but thank you, and I appreciate you. GIVEAWAY video dropping tomorrow (Saturday) noon PST. Don’t miss your chance, folks.

Greetings repair p0rn addicts. I promised another giveaway at 25k subscribers and we're getting there soon. I've always done giveaways with repair tools to encourage YOU to tinker. But this time around, I'm letting you all decide the giveaway prize. Go forth and vote!

Give me tools so I can fix alongside this Borderline OCD guy.

Give me a retro system. I'd sooner relive my childhood memories.

Some of you may have noticed I haven't been uploading weekly as per my usual schedule. Well, after a decade of living and working in Silicon Valley, I have decided to leave California. For good. I'm traveling up north to Oregon where my wife and I will be settling into a smaller community.

This is a positive change for many reasons and has been in the works for some time. I've been living in a city environment for the majority of my life, and in the words of John Muir, "The Mountains are Calling and I Must Go". I want to see trees when I look outside my window. I want peace and quiet when I'm working on my projects in the evenings. I'm looking forward to rain and snow in the winter.

So what does that mean for the channel? Short term (next month or two) it means I'll be uploading less often as I focus on transplanting to another state. There are a lot of loose ends to tie up as I prepare to close this California chapter of my life.

Long term (after a couple of months) things will go back to normal once I'm settled in Oregon and I'll be uploading weekly again. The content will evolve as my life is evolving. This means there may be videos about setting up my "play room" (yes indeed, I'm getting a room all to myself for recording, repairs, and video games) WOOHOO! There may also be videos related to doing things around the house (like putting together a badass home network). And most assuredly, there will be more console and electronics repair videos.

Thank you all for being a part of my journey over the past year, it's been one hell of an experience. I'm thrilled to be taking on this new adventure and I'm excited to have you along for the ride.
