Hi, I am Anushka,

Do you want to play hide & seek with us? BFFs instantly.

That’s how easy it was to make friends when we were children!

But now as an adult!

Between work, family, and chores, who even has time to meet new people?

I know the struggle!

My social circle shrank after school because everyone got busy. But then, something amazing happened.

I started making friends at work: Shreyaa Kapoor, Ayush Shukla & many more.

We bonded over the shared experience of daily work life. We celebrate wins and support each other through challenges.

As adults, our friendships tend to blossom naturally in shared spaces, whether it's work, hobbies, or through mutual friends.

These connections become even more valuable with time, as they are grounded in life experiences and the wisdom that comes with age (or so we hope!).

They become the shoulders we lean on and the voices of reason in our chaotic lives.

I've come to realize that friendships aren't just about having someone to grab brunch with or binge-watch the latest series.

They're about having a support system, a tribe to lean on when life gets tough.

That's why I make time to meet them outside of work. Who else understands your industry struggles better than a coworker?

After all, who else can understand your struggles better than someone in the same industry or with similar life experiences?

They're the ones who keep you sane in this beautiful, chaotic thing called adulting. So, is anyone else out there feeling the friend-making struggle too?

P.S. Anyone else turns into a social butterfly at work? Let's hear your craziest "work BFF" stories in the comments!!

Umar Nikal Jaa Rahi hai!!

Anyone else in their 20s are dodging this?

I surely am!!

I mean, I swear, I'm out there living my best life, working hard on my career... then BAM!

The relatives hit me with, "Beta, when are you getting married?"

As if that's not enough, they turn to my parents and whisper, "Don't let her get too successful, no one will want her then!"

Seriously, is there a "Married by 30" trophy I missed?

See, I don't want to disappoint my family but I can't get married for the sake of getting married

I get it, traditions and all.

But it hurts to feel like my worth depends on a wedding ring and gets lower with every birthday.

There's a part of me that actually wants to scream, "Hello! There's more to life than a ticking clock!"

My career, my dreams – they matter! They're what make me, ME.

But then the guilt creeps in.

My family just wants me to be happy, even if they're awkward about it.

But here's the thing: Marriage shouldn't be a race.

Finding a partner who supports your dreams, that's the real prize!

Marriage can be amazing, but it's not the only path to happiness.

My journey is mine, and if marriage fits in, great! If not, that's okay too!

Am I right, or am I right?

P.S. What are your craziest (or funniest) family expectations around marriage? Let me know in the comments!

And maybe some tips for surviving the auntie onslaught together!

My mom used to tell me “ Participate in everything, Even if you don't win, you'll learn something”.
And I did just that.

Although up until now, I had just been collecting participation certificates.

But Ma, I finally won!

Your daughter made it to the Forbes 30 under 30 list!

I trained in Hindustani classical music for nine years, but didn't have the voice.

Did Taekwondo for seven years, but had to give up due to health issues.
Took up competitive elocution but didn't get past the state level.

Studied really hard for boards but couldn’t get into my dream college.

Built my profile by working full time with college while pursuing CFA, got into Duke Uni for my masters with a scholarship but Covid hit two weeks after I received my acceptance letter.

It was then, in the middle of Covid, I started creating content with an aim to educate people on finance that got me on the cover of FORBES!

There were a lot of ups and downs though. My immediate social circle would mock me, I saw no growth for an entire year, I still receive hate everyday and I also receive legal notices for the awareness videos I make!

But it is fine, my purpose is bigger and this is just the beginning there is a lot more to be done.

And I will fail at times. I will be mediocre often. But that's okay.
Because it is only after collecting enough participation certificates you learn how to win!

Thank you from all my heart to each and every one of you! I am here because of you!

And to my entire team, Ayush, Bhavika, Finnet Media - couldn’t do it without you guys.

Am I actually successful?

I used to think that a lot.

For the longest time, success to me meant hitting those goals and receiving those well-deserved pats on the back.

And despite all those achievements, something was always missing.

It felt like each accomplishment was just another burden lifted, rather than a moment of true satisfaction.

But then on one particularly rough day when nothing was going my way, my dad sat me down and gave me the biggest lesson of my life!

He asked, "Why are you letting wins and losses define you? Why take it so personally?"

And that hit me hard.

He then explained to me that real fulfillment isn't about constantly seeking validation or climbing endless ladders.

No, it's about something deeper:

1. Separating self-worth from outcomes: You're incredible no matter the results!

2. Finding joy in the journey: Every step is a chance to learn, grow, and connect.

3. Savoring the present moment: Take a deep breath, be grateful, and enjoy the ride!

And this mindset shift was a game-changer.

While it was not an overnight change (still a work in progress!), but I began reframing my thoughts.

And suddenly, rejections became growth opportunities. Arguments led to deeper understanding.

Even work started feeling... dare I say it... kinda fun?!

Now, this simple mindset shift is propelling me forward in my career and personal life in ways I never imagined.

So, I have to ask: How do you define success?

And are you finding fulfillment in your achievements?

Don't Ignore This!

~ ₹57,687 Crores are in Unclaimed Funds! - Is Some of It Yours?

Govt. data reveals ₹35,012 Crores of unclaimed deposits were transferred to RBI as of Feb'23!

Insurance repository CAMSRep estimates that ₹20,000-22,000 Crores are unclaimed from insurance policies.

And this unclaimed money is not limited to bank deposits & insurance claims, it extends to the stock market as well!

The Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) says there is ₹5,675 Crores as unclaimed shares, dividends, interests & much more!

Now that's a lot of money sitting idle, just waiting to be claimed!

Luckily, there are now portals and initiatives to help you claim your forgotten funds hassle-free now.

Here's how:

✅ Check RBI's UDGAM portal:
This portal lets you search for unclaimed bank deposits from 30 banks by name, account number, or PAN.

✅ Visit LIC's Unclaimed Amounts of Policyholders page:
This page lets you check & claim if you have any unclaimed amounts from your LIC policy.

✅ Search IEPF's Database:
IEPF has a dedicated database with records of unclaimed amounts, which lets you search the unclaimed amount by giving your account number, depository client ID, or folio number.

The claim process varies from entity to entity, but these portals make it easy to get started.

So, what are you waiting for? Check these portals today. You might be surprised at what you find!

P.S. I've shared the links to the respective portals and pages in the comments below.

Do you feel like you are in a never-ending race of life?

You know, that one where everyone is trying to be on the covers of Forbes, chasing wealth, and building huge businesses?

It is almost like a marathon which we didn't sign up for!

Now don't get me wrong, if this is something that motivates you, that's incredible!

There is nothing wrong with working to achieve those!

But for me, those are not what get me out of bed in the morning.

My goal for life is pretty simple: to keep learning, make memories with my close ones, and explore our beautiful world.

It's about living a life that I genuinely enjoy, not one designed to impress others.

They're not living my life, and I'm not living theirs, so why should we base our lives on theirs?

So, here's to setting goals that make you truly want to live, not because you need to prove something to anyone.

Embrace what truly matters to you, and let that guide your journey.

In a world obsessed with keeping up with others, dare to be unapologetically you.

Because building a life you love is the most ambitious and rewarding pursuit of all.

Travel your own path, make your own rules, and treasure those moments that make your heart sing.

It's your life; make it one you'll cherish forever.

Mumbai, you've won my heart! 🥰

Have you ever been to Mumbai?

If so, you'll understand that it's a city that can truly overwhelm your senses.

The constant traffic, fast pace, and high costs can make your head spin.

But it was precisely in this chaos that I stumbled upon an experience that left me truly speechless.

When I first arrived in Mumbai, like many newcomers, I relied on Uber to get around the city.

However, there came a day when I found myself stuck in traffic, and I decided it was time to explore other options.

What I discovered was nothing short of a revelation.

Mumbai boasts an efficient and surprisingly affordable public transport system.

And here's the actual truth!
🚌 BEST Bus rides start at just ₹5

🚂 Local Trains have a minimum fare of ₹10

🚇 Metro Fares range from ₹10 to ₹60

🛺 Rickshaws start at ₹23

🚖 Taxis kick off at ₹28

Now of course because of the population the public transport is overcrowded but if you want to reach places on time they are the only option sometimes.

But that's not all. Mumbai has embraced technology to make commuting a breeze.

There are handy apps that can transform your Mumbai experience such as:
→ mIndicator: Go-to app for all Public Transport

→ Chalo App: Perfect for navigating BEST buses

→ UTS App: Essential for local train users

→ Mumbai 1 App: For exploring the metro network

So, whether you're new to Mumbai or planning a visit, don't be discouraged by the initial chaos.

Embrace the convenience of Mumbai's transport system, and with these handy apps, you can effortlessly explore the city and discover a Mumbai you've never seen before.

P.S. If you know of more apps like these, share them in the comments!
