Hi everyone! Friend of the channel @buildthelanes is running a campaign with the Estonia-based charity Help99 to fund a pickup truck for Ukraine. It's a cause we care a lot about, and I've already made a donation. If you're interested in contributing, the link is here: https://www.help99.co/patches/building-the-lines-patches-campaign

Donations of €100 and above are eligible for a limited edition patch, but you can enter any amount you want. He's actually going to personally deliver the truck to Kyiv at the end of the fundraiser. More details at the end of his recent video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjPdu...

We're excited to announce we'll be going to the Winter Cycling Congress in Edmonton this coming February!

Edmonton is one of the most exciting cities for urbanism in North America, being ahead of the curve on housing reform (they eliminated parking requirements in 2020) and more recently committing to spend $100 million on bike infrastructure over the next few years.

Watching Montreal's active mobility transformation over the past few years has been very satisfying, and it's awesome that there's another city we'll be able to increasingly point to as a model as well. If you haven't seen it, check out Shifter's recent video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBvBw...

And if you're able to make it, we'd love to see people at the Winter Cycling Congress (February 22nd to 24th, 2024): https://www.yegcyclingcongress.ca/

This northern city is spending $100M to improve cycling. Can your city too?

Thanks to Paige for organizing this. It was a lot of fun last year, and this year should be a great time too.

The snow clearing process still stands out to us as one of the most memorable aspects of living in Montreal. Enjoy the sounds of the season and get in the festive spirit with this video we made last winter on the amazingly synchronized operation.

Thanks for all the support this year in helping Urbanity grow; we’re looking forward to seeing what '22 brings for the channel! Happy holidays, everyone 🎄
