Hey guys!

I am planning to go live on YouTube (that once in a blue moon YT live of mine yes) on my birthday, Feb 10! That will be on this Saturday, (the day of Lunar New Year yup) at 10PM PH time! Not Filipino time! 😜

This is to celebrate my birthday with you all for the first time ever, and to make pretty important announcements for my channel moving forward. I also just wanna chitchat with you all which is something I haven’t done in AGES!!! I hope you can all tune in!! ❤️

So.. it’s finally happening.. Our MEET & GREET! 🙌

As I promised in my 1M Q&A video, me and my team managed to make our meet and greet happen in the beginning of 2023. One thing to note though, is that it’s going to be a joint meeting along with other artists (@1st.oneofficial & @firstone_dione) from my management company, as it will be a ‘family’ meet and greet; however we will have individual sessions for each artist. I will be the first one in line so please come on time! 🥰

Date: March 12, 2023
Time: Ticket booth will open at 10AM; Entry begins at 1PM (My time slot:  3:00 -4:00PM)
Location: New Frontier Theatre, Araneta City, QC

I was a little girl who started her YouTube channel out of her dad’s old camera (CANON G1X was it, with 8G memory card, the editing program was iMovie) in the corner of my room in 2017; and now I get the honor of seeing this unbelievable number—ONE MILLION. 😭

Who would have known this would actually happen? I know life is not all about numbers but this is truly a milestone to celebrate! And you guys literally made this happen. 🥹

I’ve been reading this journal by Thoreau lately and one part of it talks about “what may a man do and not be ashamed of it”? He may do nothing, but then he’ll get the label of a lazy person. But does that mean doing something is always, ultimately better? What if that ‘something’ turns out to be more harmful for the world? Pondering about this question gave an extra slap on my face as a content creator—as I care deeply about what kind of impact the videos I create can give. I easily fall into a dilemma and sometimes it’s hard to get out of it. 

But all these thoughts at the end of the day is a sign that I’m awake; and I get to have this honor because of each and every one of you who have hit that subscribe button. 

I cherish and treasure your warm support and love very deeply… Words are not enough to express how thankful I am.

TRABAHO series is something that I thought of making since more than a year ago—and now its potential came to fruition and we’ve completed the whole series! 😭 This series would not have been able to come to life without my team who helped me with the shooting coordination, preliminary research, filming and editing. As a *foreign’ content creator in the Philippines I always think about what people can get through the videos I make. I do not want it to be so shallow, and the same time not too deep and serious. I want it to be entertaining, but informative at the same time. Most importantly, I wish all the content I put up there brings you a sense of connection. ✨Does it? Haha.

As you all know I’m now back in Korea, and going through an emotional roller coaster ride reflecting on what my stay in the Philippines meant to me. I have a lot of things to say (which I will share in my upcoming videos), but for now all I could tell you is that my 3-month trip to the Philippines was definitely worth the 5 RT-PCR tests I took. ❣️

Today is the day I turned 21. A gentle surprise to everyone who thought I was way older. 🙌 My dad once told me that birthday isn’t a special day when you’ve become a ‘real’ adult. I guess I now know what he meant by that. 🤔 

I’m currently only getting better from getting food poisoned after eating raw oysters.. Never eat raw oysters guys… So I can’t really eat now. 

I’ve spent the day at home with my mom and my sister, and that’s more than enough to heal myself from busy working days. 

In case you didn’t know, I’m an introvert when it comes to my own social life and I’m not a fan of parties. But it still is truly flattering to have all of you—my virtual friends—greet me on a supposedly special day. This online social space we’ve created indeed is what I treasure the most. ✨❤️ Your greetings are what made my day today, thank you. 🥺

With my background of being in the KPOP industry for years, many people ask me if I regret ‘giving up’ my long-time dream. 

My answer to it is a bold no! 

The reason behind my answer can be found on this channel, a warm community which serves as my ‘creativity-trigger’, a conversation starter and a virtual home. I’m proud to call myself the owner of this lovely space. I’m grateful beyond words to have you guys as amazing members of it, and most importantly for shaping this space to how it looks now. 

To give up something means to begin something else. Whether that ‘something’ appears to be good or bad to you, the fact that you’ve went through a significant change in your life is very admirable, because it’s an inevitable step to take for growth. It’s a challenge but also a trigger that allows you to be fully honest to yourself; it’s the moment where your inner and outer self meet. 

Therefore, to give up something isn’t a bad thing at all. It’s simply a state change. Through that state change, I’m now gifted with the joy of having you guys by my side. You are a reminder for me to stay humble, to constantly create, to passionately think... Thank YOU so much for that.

Sorry, that was long. I can go on and on but I’m obviously stopping myself. How many of you read that? Haha.
