Hello everyone, I recently went on a  @ChillPillNp episode. As the name, it was actually chill. Some random conversations, lots of laughter, and amazing humor of Ustav Dai and Kshitiz bro. 

You must have seen reports of Iran's attack on Israel. This happened because, on 1 April 2024, the Iranian consulate annex building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus was destroyed by an Israeli airstrike. 

The suspected primary target of the attack was the Quds Force commander of the Iranian Armed Force, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, who was killed in the attack. According to The Guardian, Zahedi was a critical figure in the relationship between Iran and Hezbollah. 

The New York Times reported that the strike targeted a meeting between Iranian intelligence officials and Palestinian militants, including leaders of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, who were discussing the war in Gaza. On 5 April, Iran told the United States to "step aside" as it prepared for retaliation against Israel. Today's attack is Iran's response. 

Let's hope for de-escalation, although the pace of change in such situations can be unpredictable. Last week, we released a video discussing the geopolitics and potential for a World War; if you haven't already, I encourage you to watch it."

You may have noticed a surge in news concerning forest fires across Nepal in recent days. Last year, while traveling back to Kathmandu Valley, I encountered numerous such incidents along the way and felt compelled to create a video addressing why they occur and the lack of action being taken. Unfortunately, forest fires are poised to escalate. While the timely arrival of rain offers some relief, the situation is bound to deteriorate significantly. 

"In the waves of change, we find our true direction." 

After two incredible years of growth, our YouTube channel is getting a fresh new look!  I created the previous logo back in 2020 when I had no idea what The Nepali Comment could become. Over the years, I've grown to love the logo, even though it might not be aesthetically perfect. But as they say, Change is inevitable.

From our humble beginnings with just 500 subscribers to nearly three hundred thousand strong, it's been an amazing journey filled with challenges and triumphs.

We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and love. Without your encouragement, we wouldn't be where we are today. 💖
