Regarding BambuLab A1 Maximum Bed Temperature - Latest Update: 12/16/2023

The most frequently asked question in this video is about the bed temperature. Here is the clarification:

The bed temperature of the BambuLab A1 has been confirmed to reach 100°C.

Initially, I received specifications from BambuLab stating the maximum temperature was 80°C, and they revised it to 100°C on the product page on Dec 14. However, during testing with an infrared laser thermometer, the highest temperature measured on the bed was 82°C. While the same laser thermometer accurately measured other PEI beds, it displayed a slightly lower temperature when used with the A1 PEI sheet.

Subsequently, I purchased another high-resolution thermal camera and retested it. The highest temperature at the left edge of the bed can reach up to 101°C, the center of the bed is around 94-97°C, and the four corners range from 88.5-97.6°C. Although the temperature of the two front corners seems lower than the rest of the bed, it still falls within an acceptable range of temperature fluctuations.

Now, I can confirm that the bed of the A1 can indeed reach 100°C.

This is likely the last book I'll purchase this year—not on Amazon, not on Kindle, but a very informative, real paper book that I'll keep for years. Looking forward to reading it!

3D Printer price tracker by AuroraTechChannel.com

Our 3D printer price tracker has recently detected several noteworthy changes. One that caught my eye is the Creality CR-10 SE, which has seen a significant price drop of 16% on Oct 12, going from $459 to $386. Despite its name, the CR-10 SE is more like an Ender-3 S1 Pro, BUT featuring Klipper firmware and linear rail upgrades. Given that the Ender-3 S1 Pro is priced similarly, the CR-10 SE is obviously a better option.

The second machine that caught my attention is the SOVOL SV05, essentially an upgraded version of the Ender-5 Pro. With a box frame design where the print bed moves only up and down, it promises better print quality compared to a bed slinger. It’s just run Marlin firmware, but it current price dropped from $200 to $169, which is hard to beat.
