Hey everyone!

The 3rd video in the series is set to Premiere tomorrow! We travel back to India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Africa, as we go through the changes and conflicts brought about by the increased European presence during the age of New Imperialism.

We go through the British expansion in India and their eventual dominance, the Indian Rebellion, and British Raj. In southeast Asia, we briefly take a look at the different European powers in the region, the Burmese Wars, Thailand, and French Indochina. After a look into Australia and the Pacific, we travel to Africa

We go through, region by region, covering the Dutch, British, and Boers in South Africa, to the French in Algeria in the North and British in Egypt! We conclude In the late 1800s, with the Scramble for Africa, the Belgian Congo, the Boer War, and Italy's attempts to colonize Ethiopia.

As always it’s jam packed with information and offers a glimpse at the world outside of Europe and the Americas before the First World War. Hope to see you all there at 7pm EDT!

A 12th century stone carving of a dog and hare on the wall of a church in Herefordshire, England. Would make for a great medieval cartoon series.
