The University of Waterloo's Faculty of Mathematics connects theoretical advances and innovative mathematics to develop novel solutions to pressing problems. Each of the four academic departments (applied mathematics, combinatorics and optimization, pure mathematics, and statistics and actuarial science) and the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science offers programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.
