How to get a top score without sacrificing your sleep. These 5 techniques lay the foundation for understanding and encoding. Although not foolproof, give them a try and let me know your results: 1. Chunking: Group information into 2-4 related ideas. Organize, memorize. 2. Mindmaps: Embrace the non-linear nature of knowledge. Visualize relationships with mindmaps or flowcharts. 3. Handwritten notes: Forget typing. Spend more time thinking and writing out your notes. This enforces the information by personalizing it for you. 4. Interleaving: Mix it up! Approach knowledge from different angles and try various strategies—just like you'll do with these methods. 5. Teaching: share knowledge with an imaginary friend. Uncover knowledge gaps and relearn.
