Hey all,

In case you didn't see the announcement video, we launched a new scripted podcast on Wednesday called Extremities. It's all about why and how people live in earth's most isolated and extreme settlements.

In season one, we tell the story of Pitcairn Island--a small British territory in the South Pacific with just 50 people. It's 300 miles/500 kilometers away from the nearest other inhabited place, 3000 miles/5000 kilometers away from the nearest city, and 10,000 miles/16,000 kilometers away from its capital city in London. The twist and turns that Pitcairn takes through history and the explanation of why and how Pitcairn still exists today are fascinating, in my biased opinion.

Episode 1 is out now and I'd love it if you'd give it a listen. Extremities is available at the following places:

Hey everyone. I won't be promoting every personal channel video here because I don't want to pester you guys but I wanted to point out this one since it's my first "real" video on my personal channel. It's a Q&A with me hosted by Mike Boyd. Be sure to subscribe to that channel as I'll be doing a whole wide variety of videos there. I'm filming a video on-location in Guam right now so in a few weeks there will be a behind-the-scenes video from that! Hope you enjoy it!

So, in a hypothetical timeline where the first video with me on-camera went out tomorrow, a "face-reveal" if you must, it would probably appear here at 10:30 EST/3:30 BST: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDA1...

Hey everyone! I'll probably continue to preface any post using the community tab promising not to use it much because I know it can get annoying, but today I'm using it for something that should hopefully help improve our videos!

We're running a short survey to get a sense of what you like, what you dislike, and what you want to see more of. This is all to make sure we're making the best possible videos for you! One random respondent will also get one of our brand new t-shirts featuring the new logo for free!

The survey can be found here:  https://goo.gl/forms/sByP6bocgHPzR2WG3
Thanks in advance!

Don't worry, I'm not going to use this community tab feature much, but a lot of you are probably wondering where today's video is!

We’ve now officially changed schedule to once every three weeks meaning the next video releases on Tuesday, January 23. I know many of you might be disappointed about this, but there’s a good reason I’m dialing back the schedule. This is not me pulling focus away from Wendover Productions—it actually represents an even greater commitment to it. In 2018, I’m going to be concentrating on more ambitious scripts and projects. For the “normal” videos, you’ll see topics that take more time to research and are, therefore (hopefully) more interesting. I also have some incredible on-location videos planned. I don’t want to spill the beans yet, but if you had told me I was going to film in some of the places that are now planned two years ago, I would never have believed you. I cannot wait to release these videos and it’s only possible by giving myself more time to work on each video.

I hope you understand, and in the meantime go watch our other channel, Half as Interesting! ( http://youtube.com/halfasinteresting)
