CLARIFICATION on the exotic class items that come with 2 exotic perks. You don't actually get 2 full exotic perks. Based on this image, it seems that you'll only get a *part* of each exotic perk. So for example here, you can see this is the Synthoceps perk, but it is incomplete. The ACTUAL Synthoceps provide the same melee buff, but also give bonus Super damage, as well as improved weapon handling and reload speed.

This is what will make these exotic class items more balanced. Yes, you'll be able to mix and match different exotic perks from different classes, but these exotic perks won't be quite as good as just using the regular exotics. 

Today was one of the biggest WINS Destiny has had in the past 5+ years. The Final Shape seems to have gotten a major overhaul and is now vastly improved, the new Onslaught activity is extremely fun and challenging on Legend mode, and there's a reason to be genuinely optimistic about the future. Big day for everyone, players, creators and devs alike.
