1% Nation! I have a YouTube & career update for you, and a question at the end! When I started this channel six years ago, the content was intended for a 25-35 year old engineering professional audience. That's why it's called, "1% Engineer" - to help young engineers rise to the top 1% of their career. But something unexpected happened. I discovered that most of 1% Nation was a student aged 18-24. These people not yet worried about their career, because they need to survive being a student. What they were worried about was choosing the wrong engineering major! So I made a lot of videos about major choice, which is not universal to the community, and therefore, impossible to sustain a channel this way. So I stopped uploading videos and went back to civil engineering. In the spring of 2021, I moved to Philly and returned to an engineering firm I was with previously - this time in a marketing/strategy/business development role. Two years+ into that and I'm so happy. I figured it out guys. How to get what you want in your engineering career, and I want to get back to helping and teaching you guys how to best navigate these waters. I want to help you guys summit too.
