Having a hotspot on the PC that controls your equipment is great, since you can then connect directly to it and control it. But Windows makes it nearly impossible to start such a hotspot on startup if the PC doesn't have any Internet connectivity in the first place! Should I change the name of the channel to include the word "Astro" somewhere? Something like "Cuiv the Astro Geek". Some comments have suggested this for better channel visibility, and others have suggested that I may not, in fact, be lazy (how dare you? Haha)

Well, I've decided to fly to the US for the 2024 total eclipse - I'll be flying into Dallas Fort Worth a few days prior to the event. Any suggestions on what to do until the eclipse are welcome, even further afield (love hiking, camping, etc.) :D If anyone also know how the heck to get a discount on rental cars, hotels, or how the DFW airport toll roads work in terms of actually paying for them (there doesn't seem to be any toll booth, so what I am supposed to do?!), please let me know!

I've been contacted by many of you about the earthquake, aftershocks, and tsunami that are occurring in Japan - thank you so much for your concern! I'm still in the Tokyo area which is basically unaffected and just shook gently once (almost unnoticeable), so please don't worry about me! Obviously I'm worried about the folk up in the affected areas though...
