A heads up as I am about to head out on vacation!

First of all Cobalt Core and Brotato are unaffected by what I am about to say! The Let's Try slot is going to look a little weird for a couple days due to not having a lot of time to prepare for the trip. It is going to be a mix of a couple VoDs that I am excited to share, and two sponsored videos. Fans of the channel know I don't take a lot of sponsorships, but they'd also know these two games are ones that I've played before and loved, Battle Bands Co-op and Death Roads: Tournament. Apologies for it all lining up in a row amongst VoDs though, it is not my preferred schedule, but the trip made things weird.

Second, the elephant in the room is that Brotato is coming to and end very soon. As I have mentioned in the series, I have covered all of the mods that I have interest in covering, and I have absolutely exhausted vanilla brotato of anything that is interesting to me two times over, and it is unclear if the game will get more updates. I'll return to check the update out if it does of course. It has been a great ride, and it will always be by far the best game in the genre to me.

So, I have two possible ideas already in mind for the upload slot, but keep in mind that there is absolutely no guarantee that it is going to be another 420+ (lol) video series. It might just be another daily rotating slot, it all depends. Even though I have ideas, if you guys have suggestions I am open to hearing them!

Anyways, I am headed off for a much needed break, just wanted to explain why you might notice some weirdness, even if there was a good chance you wouldn't even notice.

Gathering audience data to help with thumbnail creation in the future. Which mode do you currently use for YouTube? 

EDIT: Whelp, after 14 hours of processing YouTube literally finished processing Wildfrost 5 minutes after this post, so I guess this is just a promo for my podcast now lol.
While I have you here anyways I figure I might as well plug something I rarely get a good chance to plug, and that is my podcast! I have a weekly podcast where fellow creator Rhapsody and I read, and take slightly too seriously, choose-your-own-adventure books typically made for kids. Currently we are reading through Give Yourself Goosebumps. It is called Turn to Page and it is truly one of my favorite projects. I'll link it down in the comments because putting it here kills the reach of the post, but it is @ TurnToPageCast on YouTube. 

Videos will be late today. A storm rolled through and I've been without power for 11hrs and there isn't an estimate for its return yet.

In the meantime, what video from the Let's Try series would you be interested to see a mini / full series on? Please consider if it was a demo that there may not be enough content yet for multiple videos. 

Today's videos will all be uploaded as soon as YouTube is done processing them, whenever that is!

My computer blue screened yesterday while recording Revita so I might not be able to get a Revita video out today, if I do it will be very late because YouTube processing has been slow. I will do my best, but no promises! I did get a Brotato & Let's Try already recorded and they should be out roughly on time.

Because it feels silly to just post about this one thing, I guess I will also advertise my Twitch channel. I stream on Monday & Wednesday at 4PM CST. Monday's stream has been a roguelike roulette where I spin a wheel of 180+ roguelikes and has been a blast revisiting some old favorites.

Q&A - January 2022

Hey there! So I realized just how much I underutilize the community post feature on YouTube after seeing how many people replied to the last one... so let's fix that!

I was thinking about practical uses of the feature that would help with transparency on the channel so I came to the idea that posting a thread here, where you can ask any questions you might have. Often people leave questions on my newest video that have no context with it. Which can feel like a bummer sometimes to see people not wanting to interact with that video, but it makes complete sense when there is nowhere else to ask those questions! So now that excuse is gone, reply your question to this post.

Ask away! I will not guarantee I'll answer everything, but I will give it a shot. Be sure to check if your question has already been asked though! 

Just wanted to make a quick community post to ask if there is any specific game you'd like to see me play for the Let's Try series that:

A) You think I'd probably enjoy.
B) I haven't played on the channel before.
C) Is relatively new. (released or hit 1.0 in the past month or two)

It doesn't need to be on Steam, but it does have to be on PC. Let me know, and I'll see what I can do! 

A couple updates:
• Today's videos didn't upload properly overnight aside from the Let's Try so there may not be many videos today, it entirely depends on YouTube's processing speed. 

• Retoween will be starting likely on October 19th which will mark the start of a new series on Inscryption, and the Let's Try series is going to begin to focus on some seasonally appropriate games, with a focus on trying to find some fun Horror Roguelikes, or just Roguelikes with an otherwise thematically appropriate vibe. If you have any good suggestions leave them in the comments, the preference is on newer games!

• I will be on vacation from October 17th - 19th, I will try to have as much uploaded as I can so you maybe won't even notice if I can get enough done, but just in case there is anything missing, broken, etc, that is likely why!

• Look at this dang Retoween zombie Retromation face done by the wonderful SamCaron55, it's great! 

Apologies, YouTube processing struck again. Poker Quest will be out at the normal time today, but unless YouTube starts to process, I may not get the 2nd video out today, which is a continuation of Coromon! We are going to play for a little bit, either through the demo, until all my Coromon die (I'm playing Nuzlocke Mode), or people just get bored!
