I always keep a notebook and pen with me. 🤷‍♂️
It has helped me so much:
- It clears up space on my head
- I plan my day and jot down all the tasks that I need to finish
- If I'm learning something I make sure I write important points
- I take important meeting notes over it

In short, I just write down things that are in my head and it really helps a lot.

TBH, I have tried doing this digitally, but it never works for me.

That's the reason I always suggest my students to take notes while they learn from my video of Namaste JavaScript, Namaste React or Namaste Frontend System Design.

IMHO, Learning by taking notes using pen/paper is still the best way!

When I built `Namaste JavaScript`,
I wanted it to be a paid course. 😅
The deal was almost final with a very famous Ed Tech startup.

I told them that I am planning to make the best JavaScript course on the internet and they were very excited to launch it on their website.

They asked me for a few sample videos of the course.

I sent them first 4 videos of Namaste JavaScript.

They were surprised seeing the videos and they just rejected them. 🥺
They said, "We cannot put these videos on our website, it will ruin our brand"

They just broke the deal. 🤷‍♂️

I asked for a feedback and they said:
- Why are you shouting while teaching
- Why are you running so fast while you're teaching
- Why do these videos have random jokes and memes
- Why do these videos end with random music
- Why are you teaching all that Global Execution Context and other in depth stuff and so many other concerns..

The founder of that startup literally said on my face,
"This is not how you teach students, these videos won't work, no one will be able to study from them"

I had put my heart and soul in making those videos,
it was so tough for me to listen to such a feedback.

The deal was gone now,
but in my heart I knew that these videos will definitely work.

I did not give up, I did not drop the idea.
I had put in so much efforts already so I thought that let me put them up on my YouTube channel for FREE and see if students like it or not.

The deal was already broken and there was nothing more for me to lose anyways. 🤷‍♂️

I just released those 4 videos on YouTube.

TBH, the videos initially did not perform well, but I just continued to make more videos in the series.

After a while, slowly slowly, Namaste JavaScript started picking up.
and after that I just did not look back.

It has been 3 years of Namaste JavaScript and it has reached over a million students.

Almost everyday I get DMs and mails from students that Namaste JavaScript has helped them in their career.

I feel so happy and proud that I have been able to impact the career of so many students.

Being a teacher, it's like a dream come true to me. ❤️
