Amazon rejected my one-star review of the Elgato due to "community guidelines". I wonder how many other negative reviews are being rejected for this bogus reason?

How did you pronounce it back in the day? "walkMAN" or "Walkmun"?

If you couldn't get those special glasses to view tomorrow's solar eclipse, here's how to safely view it using a camera and a floppy disk:

To all the people commenting on my video about the Electrophonic 8-track player, saying that maybe it's playing too fast because it was designed for 50 Hz AC power: that would cause a 20% difference in speed, which would make it unlistenably fast, not just a little bit; and also apparently they didn't pay attention to the part of the video where I showed the back panel, which specifically says "60 Hz" on it. Also for the people who don't know, the mains frequency (50 or 60 Hz) is what determines the speed of an AC motor, not the voltage. So whether I run it on 100, 110, 117, 120, or even 240 volts, that wouldn't change how fast it plays.

You've probably heard of Cuba Baion thanks to a certain Muppet on YouTube. Now here's the Brazilian Baion:

Perhaps inspired by Dora Hall, this elderly owner of a home improvement store in New Jersey decided to go to Nashville and record several albums of cover versions of popular tunes, and gave away copies of them to his customers. Unfortunately even the best musicians couldn't hide the fact that he couldn't sing, and at his age he shouldn't have even tried to.

Digital Juice, distributor of the BackTraxx Music Library which I use frequently in my videos, closed abruptly due to the death of its founder. Which makes me glad I have the music on CDs, rather than some kind of online subscription service which can be yanked out from under you for unexpected reasons. https://www.newscaststudio.com/2024/01/15/digital-juice-shuts-down/

I scanned in the December 1990 Personics magazine/catalog. They had Nine Inch Nails listed in the "Dance" category!? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a62FUwmklwkR_KDfCxbUA27zqzzA1Oji/view?usp=sharing
