WE GOT OUR CREDIT BACK! What a pain it was even after we finished the repair video: https://youtu.be/F90q1WVZ2N4 Because they don't want to ship a battery, I asked if I could get a shipping label for the display and then I can recycle the battery on my own (which they tell you to do). But they said we wouldn't get the full credit that way and that I needed to arrange a pick-up. I managed to find a Bellinghamian willing to let us use their address for the pick-up. But it turns out that address was too far for a pick-up, so I was sent a shipping label anyway and told to bring the battery to a recycler!
