The design team at Geometrium Studio turned a former Boeing 737 plane into a rental property, which now has all the trappings of a high-end hotel. It's called the Private Jet Villa, a luxury accomodation in Bali, Indonesia.

The villa is one-of-a-kind, with an infinity pool, private chef, and unique experiences only a plane can offer, like a patio on the wing of a plane.

One night at the Private Jet Villa team can start at $3,100, but it can cost upwards of $7,200 a night.

Crypto scammers successfully stole a whopping 1,155 wrapped Bitcoin using a technique that tricks users into malicious transactions.

A crypto user lost over $69.3 million in wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) to an address-poisoning attack on May 3. At first, the attacker mirrored a 0.05 Ethereum (ETH) transfer before stealing the WBTC in the next transaction.

Arati Prabhakar, Biden's chief science and technology advisor who's also the director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, told Wired she and Biden put the bot up to a few tasks.

She said they asked it to write a legal brief for a Supreme Court case, write a song in the style of Springsteen, and generate an image of Biden's dog, Commander, in the Oval Office.

"He was like, 'Wow, I can't believe it could do that,'" Prabhakar said of Biden.

But his first encounter with generative AI also sparked concern.

Prabhakar told Wired that Biden later asked the team to address the potential risks of AI, which led to the sweeping executive order he signed in October.

Rogelio Villarreal Jasso got extremely lucky when he found heavily discounted Cartier earrings online. He noticed an Instagram advertisement for gold-and-diamond Cartier earrings priced at $13.

The earrings — in Cartier's Clash style — originally retailed for $13,675, so Jasso ordered two pairs.

Jasso told that he received a call from the luxury jewelry brand days later and was told that his order would be canceled because the online price wasn't correct.

He said Cartier apologized and offered to send him Champagne and a card holder — which he refused.

Instead, Jasso said he reviewed the terms and conditions of Cartier's Mexico site, where he found that the brand directs customers to the Office of the Federal Prosecutor for the Consumer if they have issues with orders.

He filed a complaint with the federal consumer protection agency, citing one of the country's consumer protection laws, which states that a supplier can be taken to court if the terms and conditions of a given purchase aren't upheld.

After being contacted by the agency, Cartier seemingly took matters into its own hands and settled the issue by sending Jasso his order.

The insurer of Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge is gearing up to issue a $350 million payout to the state of Maryland.

Chubb's payment would be the first related to March's disaster. The Lloyd's of London insurance syndicate previously warned that the bridge's collapse could trigger the "largest single maritime insurance loss ever," with Barclays analysts estimating that the damage caused could lead claims worth up to $3 billion.
