I'm not posting a video on my main channel today because I've been traveling, but I posted a LONG VIDEO on my second channel! I went up to Memphis for a couple days to do a livestream at St. Jude! I'm doing a huge fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital all month on Twitch, and I post all my streams on  @moresimsie  after! Freedom!!! Snappy got her stitches out today, and the vet said everything is healing nicely! Finally no more cone! 

Update on Snap’s surgery! 

She’s been slowly improving all week. She seems to be getting around okay, and she was even playing a little bit last night! That is a HUGE improvement compared to a few days ago. 

The vet just called with results from the pathologist. It’s a malignant sarcoma, but the good news is that the margins are clean! They take really wide margins on purpose (that’s why her incision is so big) to be extremely cautious, and it worked! It was pretty close though - only by 1.5mm, which isn’t great. It does have a chance of returning.

Overall this is relatively good news! So yay! She gets her stitches out on Tuesday, so I’ll talk to the vet more then about next steps. She did mention potentially getting in contact with an oncologist about radiation, so I’ll need to look into it more. 

There’s a Sims update today! I typically make videos about updates like this one, but my cat is having surgery today and I won’t be able to. I still wanted to show you, because it looks really cool!!! They added some new swatches to a couple of hairstyles.

I have some pretty rough news to share. TW: cancer, pets

My cat Snap was diagnosed with cancer last week, and she's having surgery on Tuesday to remove a cancerous mass in her leg. I'm really sorry to be sharing such bad news, but I wanted to keep you all updated. I've been absolutely distraught over this, and it's been really hard to grapple with the diagnosis. My family adopted Snap when I was 9, and she came with me when I moved out on my own. She's been my best friend for as long as I can remember, and she's been a rock for me in some of the hardest times of my life. I know that sounds a little silly. 

The vet feels pretty good about the surgery, but we're gonna do some additional scans and tests while she's under anesthesia to check if it's spread. I'll let you know once I find out more. 

I thought I would mention it because I might have a weird upload schedule next week while I help her through the surgery/recovery. Bare with me! This has been really, really hard on me and I'm doing my best ❤️
