Do you trust used/refurb hard drives/SSDs? I personally haven't had any issues with mine, but I always have a backup
Absolutely, and I use them all the time.
Meh. They're a good backup.
Don't care either way. Price matters more.
Not my favorite, will use in a pinch.
NO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Is this guy seriously going to talk about an outdated GPU that is a complete waste of money again? Yes. The answer is yes. But only for a minute or two. A more fitting GPU for the system I'm building would probably be an RTX 3090 at least, but that's boring. Also expensive.

Wouldn't it be funny if I had a discord and it was mine, I was the owner, and you could join? https://discord.gg/2Wj8WanUzn

What are you most productive on? I really can only get basic work done on a laptop before I start to get frustrated and just want to go back to my desktop and multiple monitors.
Laptop
Desktop
Pen and paper
I don't work

Heads up: My head isn't 6 foot under. I got Covid and not only did it kick my ass for a few weeks, (and still is somewhat) it ruined my video schedule I've been working so hard on not sticking to. I've got a video coming up in the next few days or so and a few other ones planned that I'm really excited for. I'm also launching the discord alongside that video, so keep an eye out for that if you're interested in talking tech, cars, or like... life man. Also gaming and being cheap as humanly possible.

So... I was going to keep this under wraps, but it's looking like it's going to be a significant amount of work, and possibly a decent chunk of change to make. So, would you join a (vanilla) minecraft server with me if I created one? (only like 10-20 people have to say yes for me to move forward with the project but still answer honestly please)
100% for sure
If I get bored
Not a chance, I have friends
Idk
I play terraria (results)

What Ram are you currently rocking in your main system? Bonus question: if you're not rockin' DDR5, do you feel the need to upgrade?

You know it's going to be a fun video when PCIE power adapters are involved. I'm curious, has anyone out there had issues running these adapters? Obviously trying to turn a 6pin into two 8pins for a 4080 or something is going to cause issues, but what about for lower power draw cards? I've never had any instability and the cables never even get warm.
