Hey everyone, I wanted to give you all an update on where I've been.

Like I mentioned in my last post, my roommates and I moved into a new house last month. It's been a bit of an adjustment but I think I'm pretty settled in now, and it's a straight upgrade compared to my old living situation.

In that month though there's been a lot of trying to find balance in the adjustment though. While working on the last video, I picked up DoorDash part time to help keep myself more financially stable (the support y'all have been giving me through YouTube has been *FANTASTIC*, we're just not quite at the point where it and Twitch alone keep me afloat); the area our new house is in quite frankly sucks for Dashing, so I've been taking the extra 20-30 minutes to drive back to my old spot to Dash. It's worth it because I'm making good money doing it, but it does take more time out of my day.

Additionally,  @ViolinSpeedruns  has moved in with us as a fourth roommate, and he had to borrow my PC to stream for a couple weeks because his stuff didn't arrive until a few days ago (he moved cross-country to be here). Because of that, I wasn't able to work on any type of scripting or editing for a while.

And finally, to be honest, I've been a bit burnt out. I love the Crash 3 and Twinsanity videos immensely; they're easily my two best videos and I'm still impressed with myself when I go back and watch them. But they were *extremely* draining to make. It's honestly been very nice for the past two months since the Twinsanity video came out just *not* thinking about YouTube and putting time into my other passions. I've been streaming whatever games I want on Twitch and it's been a vibe, I've been sinking more time into Yu-Gi-Oh! (a HUGE passion of mine for those who aren't aware), and I've been playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate again, which I haven't done in a long time. It's been really refreshing, and my motivation to work on the next video just hasn't really been there.

However, I'm starting to feel some of the motivation come back, and I did have the foresight to record footage for the next ranking video *before* we moved, so once I get the script for that written, recording and editing should go by much quicker than normal. So hopefully I can have a video out in June.

I apologize for the long gap between videos; when I started making scripted content I wanted to get one video out a month, but the scope and quality that I aim for means that's not really feasible without burning myself out, and I would much rather release an amazing video every 3-4 months than an average one every month.

My next two videos will probably be non-speedrunning related; I know what I want the next one to be and I have a specific timing for when I want it to be released. I also want to get some more non-speedrunning videos under my belt to help build the channel some more for a big series I have planned at the end of the year.

I appreciate everyone's patience and continued support in the months between new video releases. I haven't gone anywhere, and there will be new videos in the future. I've just been taking some time to myself and will be back at it soon.

Hey everyone!

Thank you so much for the amazing support on the Twinsanity video! I feel like six videos in, surely one of them would have flopped by now, but the reception to all of them has been insanely positive and I can't be more grateful for that. This video in particular is one that I knew for years that I wanted to make, and I'm glad I was able to do the topic justice.

I have plenty more speedrun history videos that I plan on making in the future, but I'm going to take a short break from them for a bit; they're very time consuming compared to the other videos I've made, and the next month or two is going to be extremely busy for me (my roommates and I are moving into a new place in two weeks), and I'd rather there not be another four month drought between releases. I have an idea for a ranking video that I really like so that will likely be my next project, and hopefully I can get it out by May.

Again, thank you all for watching and loving the videos; it's been almost a year since I shifted to long-form scripted content and I couldn't be happier with how it's gone! I hope to keep making plenty more videos in the future!

The next video is nearing completion; I'm on what I consider to be the final section of recording/editing, and should hopefully have it completed and released by the end of next week. 😊 

Small update on the next video; it's coming along nicely, but I've had some setbacks that have put me a bit behind schedule. I still fully intend on getting it out this month, but it'll likely be in the back half of the month instead (probably another 1.5 to 2 weeks).

Thank you for your patience. I'm doing my best to make sure this video comes out as good as it can be. 

The script for the next video is now complete, and is looking to be similar in length to my Crash 3 video. Hoping to start recording in the next few days and still aiming for an early-mid March release. 😊 

The script for the next video is nearing completion! I wanna say it's about 75% done, and I am liking how it's coming along. Gonna keep working away at it and hopefully be able to start recording by the end of next week.

I'd say the most generous estimate for the video's release would be early-mid March, but I'll try to get it out sooner than that. Thank you for your patience, and for the continued support for my previous videos!

Hey all!

First off, I just wanted to mention that my video on Crash 3 is now the most viewed video on my channel. Thank you so much for the huge amount of support you all have given that video, it really means a lot! <3

Second, I wanted to give a bit of an update on where I am regarding the next video. I had intended on taking a break just for December since working on the Crash 3 video took a lot out of me, and I didn't wanna overwork myself around Christmas. Unfortunately, I've also been dealing with a lot of irl stuff since the end of November, as well as getting sick at the beginning of January and being away for all of last week because I went to AGDQ, so I've only gotten a little bit done on the script for the next video. I am going to start working on it a lot more now, though, and hopefully I can still get it out by February.
