Hey folks, I wanted to provide a mid month update!
Mega Man 8 is underway, will release next week. But also, since I said before that there might be a "gaming news" video this month, I wanted to give my brief thoughts on Sonic X Shadow Generations and Metal Gear Solid Delta, and give an important Sly Cooper Update. I didn't feel like making videos on Shadow and MGS' trailers, so a post will have to do.

Sonic x Shadow: For this one...I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. Sonic remasters are usually bad, often...very bad but Sonic Generations looks like it is going to be good. Shadow Generations also has me very impressed. Part of why I was so critical on Sonic Frontiers was because I felt like Sonic Team was never going to improve the issues with animation and controls. I thought the Open Zone thing was inevitably going to get tossed out like the gameplay of Sonic Lost World did. But Shadow Generations shows they are really taking that criticism to heart and improving those areas that Frontiers tried to accomplish, but feel short in. And the fact that people are responding so well to it, to me, shows that criticizing Frontiers for its lack luster production values and artificial world design was worth it. I am really happy to see them improve and I hope the game really lives up, because I am very interested to try it, because it looks fun!

Metal Gear Solid Delta: I am also pleasantly surprised by this one. As you may know, I am not the Metal Gear fan I once was. It used to be my favorite franchise, but now I never even think of it when naming them...for reasons I can perhaps get into in a later video. But the trailer for Delta had me consistently smiling. MGSV is a fantastic game and so is MGS3, so combining the two...may lead to an unbalanced game (ala Twin Snakes) but it could also lead to a really satisfying stealth action game. Using the same voice over and mo-cap means people who like the story as is (which is vast majority of people) can rest easy knowing it won't change. But as for myself, I am very excited to play it and have a good time!

Sly Cooper is back! Sly 1 in its original PS2 form is now available on PS4 and PS5 for download for 10 dollars, or free if you are a premium member! It is really exciting to see one of my favorite games back. I really hope people support it because it would be great to see the full trilogy back in action on modern consoles, removed from the issues of the 2010 remaster! Hope we get Sly 2 and 3, I really do. I am going to play it and do a video on it, reporting on if the emulation is good or not. If it is, I hope we get more great PS2 games back, and hey...maybe one day, we shall see Sly get a reboot or trilogy remake. (Just...hopefully not Sly 5, that would be dead on arrival). So, hope to see everyone for the Sly video and for Mega Man 8 next week!

Hello folks! It is time for the monthly update post. As I said in the X8 16-Bit video; originally more Mega Man stuff wasn't on the docket for another couple months. However, the very positive response to the Mega Man 6 video has me feeling up to play more Mega Man and make more Mega Man videos. So this month, the roster is:
Mega Man 7
Mega Man 8
Mega Man and Bass
And since this month is also the universal season of gaming news, if there is somethign I feel like commenting on (SonicXShadow Generations footage, new Metal Gear Solid Delta Trailer, new RE game etc) I will make a video on that too.
Hope everyone is looking forward to all that!

Hi folks, it is now time for the monthly update post! To get down to brass tasks, this month I aim to do the following:
Mega Man 4
Mega Man 5
Mega Man 6
Mega Man X7 N's Edition
Mega Man X8 16-Bit

Now, X7 N's Edition was supposed to be done last month, but I didn't get around to it, and I figured people have been waiting for the continuation of Classic Mega Man long enough, so I will just do that first. So, I hope people are excited for that!

Thanks to all of you folks who watched it, my Sonic Project 06 video is now my seventh video to hit 1 million views! This was one of my favorite videos to work on last year and has probably been the most playtime I have put into a game in a while. I think I have over 200 hours on the Silver Release and its updates alone. And of course, huge special thanks to ‪@ChaosX‬ for making such a great game. I will definitely do another video when the next version releases!

Hey folks, now that it is the first of the month, it is time for the monthly update post. The videos I want to release this month are:
Devil May Cry
Devil May Cry 2
Devil May Cry 3
Mega Man X7: N's Edition (An X7 improvement patch)
As you may notice, the X5 guide never released last month and that is because I just suddenly felt like the weekly videos thing with specific upload dates and times wasn't working for me anyway and I just want to release stuff when I think it is good. And I also scrapped some of the smaller videos like that one. But anyway, hope people look forward to what is coming this month!

Hello folks! Since the first of the month is a Friday, I figured I'd give you the monthly update post now! So, to get right into it...
03/01/24 - Resident Evil 5 Retrospective
03/15/24 - Resident Evil 6 Retrospective
03/22/24 - Resident Evil 4 Remake One Year Later
03/29/24 - Mega Man X5 Items Video
One of the things I am trying this year is not doing any one retrospective for too long. Last month, it was three classic Mega Man videos, this month it is three RE videos. Classic Mega Man will return in May, something really cool is happening next month, if you want to try and guess what it is. The X5 items guide will probably be the last one...unless I get some great motivation to do it for X6-X8, but I don't see that happening. But that is about all I have for now. Hope everyone is excited for these!

Hello folks! Now that we are in the first full month of new content, I wanted to go, as usual, go over the plans for the month!
02/02/24 - Mega Man 1
02/09/24 - Mega Man 2
02/16/24 - Mega Man 3
02/23/24 - Mega Man X4 Least Backtracking Guide
As many guessed, one of the big things I am focusing on this year is the long awaited Classic Mega Man Retrospective! So we are starting that with 1-3 this month. But another change this year, is that I am only going to do three reviews in the same retrospective in a row, so next month will be a different series before Mega Man 4 and onward are on the table. I also decided to bring back the Mega Man X Least Backtracking Series because enough people have requested it that I thought it was worth putting more time into!
