*A quick update on yesterday's video about the Bambu Lab A1*
After my video went live, Bambu Lab reached out to say that they had a mistake in the marketing material they provided to testers and that the bed is NOT limited to 80 °C but can go all the way to 100 °C. I tested this today with the latest firmware, and lo and behold, you can set it to 100 °C, which I also confirmed with a thermocouple. The thermal camera shows the temperature distribution over the bed, dropping almost 10 K at the lower right corner. So, don't place any ABS parts in that area.
This, of course, significantly changes the competitiveness of this machine in a positive direction (and makes the P1P even more obsolete). I don't know if this was a last-minute change to make the A1 more attractive or just something they really missed.
If this convinced you to pick one up , you can check out the A1 here: https://geni.us/BambulabA1 (Affiliate)

Two great things to celebrate🎉🎉! The channel hit HALF A MILLION SUBSCRIBERS and we finally have our second batch of TS100 soldering tip adapters in stock ( https://geni.us/TS100InsertTool )

I still can’t believe it’s true, but after six years of blood, sweat, and tears, we gathered a crowd of 500,000 makers, tinkerers, tech enthusiasts, or simply amazing subscribers on this channel, and I only have the words THANK YOU for this!

Besides our subscriber count, we were also able to grow our portfolio of accessories for 3D printing and makers significantly over the last year with our latest addition, the TS100 tips for our heat set inserts that you can now get in our shop: https://geni.us/TS100InsertTool

Since we reached 500k subscribers, we had to give you a bit of a discount with a “5” theme. Well, I'm honest, we can’t afford 50% off, and 0.5% would be laughable, so we settled on a shop-wide 5% discount for the whole weekend with coupon code: YT500k

Thanks again for everything!

 https://www.youtube.com/@cnckitchen-de
English TLDR: I've now also got a German channel where I want to post videos always a week after the main English release.

In dem Sinne frohe Ostern!

I’m pretty excited to announce that we are finally launching our first products (currently EU only): https://geni.us/CNCKitchenInserts ! Due to the constantly increasing demand for high-quality heat-set inserts, we’ve been looking for a reliable partner to manufacture them for us. After half a year of proper research and testing, we found a suitable candidate and have now received the first batch!

For the moment, you can purchase our threaded inserts from many EU countries on AMAZON. We’re working hard to make them available worldwide and will keep you posted on the progress!

We currently have the typical M3, M4, and M5 inserts in stock, as well as short versions of them if you’re space is tight. Due to popular demand, we also have 1/4”-20 inserts used as camera threads on most consumer cameras and your GoPro.

Let us know if you like them, and if you purchase a bag, please leave an honest review on AMAZON!
I've also created a blog post with additional tips on how to properly use the inserts: https://geni.us/CNCKInsertsTips
