A couple of weeks ago Apple announced that Apple Music would be getting 2 new features - spatial audio with Dolby Atmos and loss audio support. During the WWDC keynote, it was announced that Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos was coming today, so you can launch Apple Music and experience it right now. Even cooler though, unlike Spatial Audio for video, you can listen to Spatial Audio in Apple Music using any pair of headphones that you’d like - AirPods or otherwise. Next, let’s talk about Conversation Boost. Your AirPods will now be able to help you hear the people around you more clearly. This feature uses computational audio and the beam-forming microphones built into AirPods Pro to focus the audio on the person who’s is talking in front of you. In addition, you can also choose to decrease the amount of ambient noise that is happening around you when talking to someone. Using these two features together, you’re able to focus on what the person in front of you is saying, while eliminating distracting background noise.
