Line and Color Quick Start Guide: https://www.thedrawingcodex.com/quickstart
In this video I take you through my process for drawing and coloring a quick Sketching session in Photoshop. This is a real time fully narrated tutorial where I take you though my process from start to finish. No fancy editing. No youtuber jokes... just the real step by step way I do this all day every day.
Sometimes when I'm sketching I like to just draw small things to fill up a sketchbook... But sometimes when I have an idea for a scene with a story I still use a really sketchy style if I'm short on time.
Practicing this type of quick image can be really useful for adapting a line and color style to concept art or visual development!
Hang out and lets draw!
Art takes a lot of patience and practice. In these real time process tutorials I want to share with you the pace at which I normally create these quick images and Illustrations that I regularly make. Even though they are quite fast from an industry professional standard... you will see that it takes a long time and the process is often chilled out and thoughtful. These are unedited and often done in a single sitting.
If you want to learn how to develop your own simple line and color workflow check out the Quick Start Guide above! It has all the brushes and tools I use to create images like this in Photoshop.
Happy Drawing!
