Public Health in Action (PHIA) will explore promising innovations in mental health care through conversations with clinicians, researchers, and patients, as well as a careful look at efficacy data. To help frame the series, the PHIA team asked leading voices in mental health for their insights on how the U.S. is falling short — and where it is succeeding. These short Q&As with a veteran policymaker, a clinician, and a student activist offer important perspectives on the mental health care system.
