A day after an avalanche left one man dead and another three people caught in the snow, Palisades Tahoe Resort said a second avalanche happened Thursday. The second avalanche was near Wolverine Bowl on the Alpine side around 12:30 p.m., a spokesperson with the resort said. Once they learned of the second avalanche, crews closed the Summit lift and the surrounding terrain.
