Firearms are the leading cause of death among teenagers in the United States and a leading cause of death among all adults across all geographies in the US. This is a public health crisis with much national debate. This event discussed an apolitical way forward through evidenced-based research, including remarks from President Mark S. Schlissel and Vice President for Research Rebecca Cunningham, and presentations from University faculty.
