I decided to illustrate the Russian pronunciation (spelling) of the Latin letters that we use in the Ham Callsigns. Many Radio Amateurs are already working with Russian ham operators using the Russian Phonetic Alphabet. It is always very pleasant when you hear your own native language.
Most letters can be spelled by using Russian names, but there are some special letters - there are no names starting with these Latin letters! So in some cases even the names of fish are used.
Write your ideas in the comments, on how I could be helpful in my videos!
And lets do a small Flashmob! You are recording a short video in which you tell your own Callsign using the Russian phonetic alphabet after my little lesson. You publish your video on your Facebook or Instagram as Stories and mark the hashtag #ylraisa and after this I will repost it in my Stories.
And we'll have a little fun together!
