Built as an homage to the legendary and lost example of Jean Bugatti's Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic, La Voiture Noire gained worldwide attention due to its hefty price of 11 million euros before tax (16.7 million euros with Austrian tax) and being the most expensive new car ever sold in 2019.
