This is my FIRST TIME making Clotted Cream. I’m an expert at EATING clotted cream in Britain, but I have never attempted to make it at home before! So I’m here in my kitchen in Texas trying out this super EASY recipe with only ONE ingredient, and an Instant Pot with a Yogurt setting. I decided to try this simple recipe so I can show my fellow Americans how to make their own clotted cream… because it is IMPOSSIBLE TO BUY good Clotted Cream in the U.S.! This recipe takes time, so plan a day or two in advance. There is only one ingredient, so find a source of heavy whipping cream that is NOT pasteurized, or at least only low temp pasteurized. This will help make the clotted cream properly.
The best way to eat clotted cream is on top of SCONES with jam!
