This is part 1 of 2 videos I'm going to be making on common concurrency patterns in Go. A couple of notes:
1. The mut object in the Thing struct should be a pointer, ala ' mut *sync.Mutex '
2. I'm very tired and haven't been feeling well, on top of that I'm learning a new keyboard layout, therefore this video moves at a positively glacial pace. Speed it up by 1.25-1.5x.
3. You're going to hear my kids upstairs screaming/playing. I don't have that Linus Tech Tips money yet so I don't have a workspace that's separate from my home. Deal with it.
