McCool chastises Jimmy on the evil of gambling and we discover that McCool was once a gambling addict who’s been clean since he joined the Mounties. At the weekly game in Mickey O’Shea’s office, McCool is called in on business, but is soon goaded into joining the game. Jimmy ends up learning McCool’s ‘tell’ and gets him on the hook for a huge sum of money. Jimmy takes McCool’s beloved Horse as collateral. Cookie discovers that Petey has a girlfriend and insists on inviting the young lady to dinner. Petey admits to Theresa that he doesn’t want Rita to come over because she is Persian and the family will wind up insulting her. When McCool’s first payment to Jimmy is a little short, Jimmy and Cheech realize they can use the Mountie’s debt as leverage to get various favors. When they see McCool performing an increasing number of humiliating jobs to earn the money, they almost take pity on him. But when McCool’s shame at gambling becomes so deep that he decides to quit the RCMP, the guys realize they have to do something! At first, they try to forgive McCool’s debt, but he’s in a twelve-step program and one of the steps is to pay back his debts. So they dig into Jimmy’s nest egg and leave the money McCool owes on his doorstep, but the true-blue Mountie turns the money in to the police instead of paying Jimmy with it. Petey’s girlfriend, Rita, arrives for dinner. The family are kind and genial, but Petey is so politically correct and defensive that he misinterprets everything they say as a racist slur. Finally Rita gets mad at Petey for voicing the slurs and she storms out. Jimmy realizes that McCool won’t accept help from anyone but a close family member. His closest family member is Horse, so Jimmy enters the animal in a horse-race and bets on it to win. Instead of being ridden by a jockey, Horse IS the jockey and wins the race by a nose. McCool is slaving away at a factory, when horse enters in a scene straight out of An Officer and a Gentleman. With McCool’s debt re-payed, Horse sweeps the Mountie into his arms and carries him off. Fugget About It is a new animated comedy sitcom about the misadventures of Jimmy Falcone. Jimmy is a former New York mob boss, who goes from feared capo to friendly Canuck when he and his family enter the witness protection program in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. After Jimmy is asked by his associates in the Gambini crime family to whack his good old Uncle Cheech (who routinely spills mob secrets to any half naked woman he encounters), Jimmy goes to mob boss Don Gambini to plead his uncle’s case. When nothing comes of it, he politely throws Gambini out of a nineteen storey window. With all of New York out to get him, Jimmy has no choice but to turn to the Feds, who move the Falcones to Regina, change their name to MacDougal, and teach them how to live like regular schnooks in the Great White North. #fuggetaboutit
