In this video, we'll focus on what you should be working on in September of 2021. We've also included a bonus money-saving tip. So let's get started. There are 4 steps you need to work on: Step 1. Gather Your Transcripts Step 2. Submit your Test Scores Step 3. Get your Solvency documents ready Step 4. Get ready to submit your University Applications Let's take a look at each one of these in detail: Your 1st step is to gather your Transcripts. As part of your university applications, you'll need to submit your transcripts. We recommend August 15th to September 30th to complete this step. If you're running behind, try to catch up quickly as possible. If your current college provides a way to do this electronically via a clearinghouse, it won't take too much time. However, if your college issues you paper copies, it may take a couple of weeks or more. Either way, make sure you get started immediately. Your 2nd step is to submit your Test Scores. You'll need to submit your test scores to the universities you've selected! We recommend August 15th to September 15th to complete this step. Test Scores include your SAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, and IELTS scores, depending on those that apply to you. The scores are submitted electronically. This is an easy step and can be completed quickly. Before moving on to the next step, be sure to subscribe to our channel and turn on all notifications. That way, you can be notified of all the future videos. These will include immunization plans, how to schedule your visa interview, how to answer the most common visa interview questions, and a lot more. Let's get back to the remaining two steps. The third step is to get your Solvency documents ready. One of the requirements of your university applications is to show solvency. It means showing your assets and liquidity to justify you have the means to pay for up to a year of your living costs. We recommend August 15th to September 15th to complete this step. It involves getting letters from your sponsors and gathering bank statements. This step can be time-consuming, so we suggest your get started immediately. And your fourth step is to get your file ready to submit your university applications. Submit your applications within the early application deadline to maximize your chances for scholarships. We recommend September 15th to Oct 15th to complete this step. In this step, you need to go through your checklist and fulfill all application requirements. Some requirements are common to all applications, while others may be specific to individual universities. Be sure to ship out your paper-based applications well in time before your application deadlines. Even if you've submitted your applications online, you might have to send your supporting documents physically. Remember to take the transit time into account. If you cut it too close, you may to have ship via expedited delivery, which can be pretty expensive. Here's a money-saving tip: Most courier companies offer student specials, which may include discounted rates or some free goodies. Shop around to see what they offer. That's it.
