At only $200, #Ayaneo's #AM01 is a tempting and stylish low-end mini PC. But does the performance justify it's place in your gaming setup? Or are there better options for you to consider?

Small correction
During a mention of DS emulation, I describe using DeSmuME to emulate DS games but show footage of myself using MelonDS. DeSmuME was the emulator I initially used to test DS emulation. However, MelonDS proved easier during recording to span across both screens for the clip.
Recording notes
All gameplay footage was recorded on the AM01 using a secondary desktop computer equipped with an Elgato 4K60 Pro. The AM01's display resolution was capped at 1080p and render resolutions within emulators also capped at 1080p. I then used Streamlabs to scale the resolution up to 1440p, then 4K.
Some frame tearing can be seen in some of the gameplay footage. However, I only started to notice those issues with the AM01 connected to my capture card. Your mileage may vary.
